New York Health Care, Inc. Is Providing CDPAP Services To More Than 20 Leading Managed Long Term Care Providers

New York Health Care, Inc., a licensed Home Health Care Agency, today announced that it is now providing CDPAP services to more than 20 of the leading Managed Long-Term Care Providers and to other healthcare providers throughout its service area, which includes all of New York City and its environs.

“We continue to see strong demand for CDPAP services as an increasing number of people become more acquainted with the benefits of consumer-directed services,” stated Lisa Grossman, the Company’s director of special projects.

CDPAP differs from traditional home care services in several critical areas. Most importantly, under the CDPAP program in which we act as Fiscal Intermediaries on behalf of the Managed Long Term Care Companies (MLTCs) and others, patients may retain caregivers of their own choice and are not limited to caregivers chosen by the agency. “Given choices in the selection of their own caregiver, which includes most but not all family members, has offered those in need of home care services additional comfort and security. They often feel that handpicked caregivers, who in many instances are family members, maybe more attentive to their individual needs, “said Paulette Fenner, the company’s CDPAP Coordinator.

NYHC is in its 34th year of high quality home care services.
